All our CV and Application Form sessions are delivered by our expert University of London Careers Advisers. All these sessions are free to attend, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Workshops

Our in-depth workshops offer visitors the chance to take part in an intensive, interactive experience on the 3 main areas that students and graduates face as they enter the world of work! Workshops can be booked in advance, and as places are limited, we advise that you book early to avoid disappointment.

One workshop = £10, two workshops = £15 and three workshops = £20. To book your place on a workshop, please contact the Events Team on 020 7863 6050 or email fairs@careers.lon.ac.uk.

 

13.00 - 14.30 The Assessment Centre - in this workshop we will be looking at what employers look for during Assessment Centres, including psychometric testing, group exercises and presentations Room D
14.40 - 16.10 The Application Form - how to sell your competencies - do you want to find out how to complete that 'perfect' job application? This interactive workshop will you understand the key principles behind successful job applications, and leave you with practical tips to help you tackle those tricky questions with confidence Room D
16.20 - 17.50 How to achieve your dream career -this workshop will help you to define what a 'dream' career is to you. We will suggest practical ways to help you identify key elements of what you really want. Finishing with creative ideas on putting it all into practice - actually moving towards achieving your goals. Room D
